RALEIGH, NC — Self-described “voice for the silenced” and micro-influencer Trent Myers, 35, announced this week that he is the latest victim of a massive Big Tech conspiracy — citing dramatically declining engagement on his content as clear proof of shadowbanning.
In reality, sources confirm, people are just tired of him saying the same five things in a rotating loop of different camera angles.
“My views used to be solid,” said Myers, whose show Free Thought Frequency once got 1,000 views on a Instagram Reel titled “Is Your Alexa Reporting You to the WHO?” “But ever since I dropped that 37-minute solo rant about synthetic dyes and municipal tax codes, I’ve been totally suppressed. I’m over the target.”
Social media analysts say that Trent’s numbers have actually remained consistent — consistently low.
“There’s no evidence of throttling,” said one data reviewer. “His clips just have that energy of a guy trying to be Joe Rogan without the charisma, guests, or purpose.”
Listeners have described the show as “sort of a podcast” in the same way a guy standing alone in a vape shop is “sort of giving a TED Talk.”
Myers insists that the algorithm is punishing him for speaking uncomfortable truths, including his recent revelation that “HOA structures are downstream of ancient fertility rituals.”
“Instagram doesn’t want me to succeed because I won’t set my pronouns to Slava/Ukraini,” he said. “I also posted a meme once that said Woodrow Wilson should’ve been drug into the the street and shot.”
At press time, Myers had launched a Substack titled Suppressed but Correct, featuring recycled tweets, screenshots of engagement graphs, and a post titled “How I Became a Threat to the Narrative by Speaking in Paragraphs.”
